Reclus Red Chilli Jam – An Everyday Mild Chilli Preserve

Great Taste 2020 2 Star AwardReclus Red Chilli Jam is one of those naughty preserves that you can keep going back to and dipping your chips into, put it with almost anything to add spice and flavour and only have a mild panic when the jar starts to run low… Keep the store cupboard stocked up with this cheeky little number.

Great Taste Awards 2019With it’s slightly smoky characteristic and mild to medium heat, this is what makes it so universal. Despite it being easy to use with or on anything we still hear our customers saying a spoon was all that was required!!!

We love it smeared on the bread before the filling goes on, or simply to dip things into! Should you find other uses or think you know how it could be used we’d love you to submit your recipe to feature on our site. If nothing else we’d love to hear your thoughts if you’d be kind enough to leave us a review. Using your feedback allows us to tweak and improve our products. Prices Spices India Joywala is quite literally sugar, spice and all things nice…

This Red Chilli Jam is my new obsession! I picked up a jar at the beginning of the week and it’s half gone already. It is lovely on cheddar and goats cheese and the other night I was making a very lazy, simple tea of sausages and chips and decided to open a tin of baked beans and put about a teaspoon of this chilli jam in the beans and they were brilliant. I also do a lot of Asian cooking and adding a little of this in sauces or marinades is so good.
