India Joywala – Pineapple & Dorset Naga Chilli Chutney

Our Multi Award Winning India Joywala has the flavour and aromas of India in the perfect blend ready to tantalise your taste buds, smeared all over your favourite popadom! 100% Natural ingredients so there’s no surprises and no nasties.

You may find more uses for this but right now all we love it for is putting on poppadum and enjoying all those flavours that shout out Indian food at its finest. The flavours this chutney really exudes are the toasted cumin and nigella seeds, you’ll get to try Dorset Naga chilli without all the burn.

Whether you might wonder if it’s going to be a direct replacement for your mango chutney just because it’s different in its own right, is completely up to you. Just make sure you try it out though. Try it out, don’t miss out!

Also not just any Dorset Naga Chillies either… They are the ones we grew for the Sea Spring Seeds Growing Challenge in 2013 – Yeah the one we won with 401 ripe Dorset Naga Chillies. Due to this fact we have decided to name the product partially after ‘Joy Michaud’, who runs Sea Spring Seeds with her husband Michael Michaud in Dorset. We still grow this variety today.

  1. Carole Alston

Bought my India Joywala chutney at the Dorset Chilli Festival earlier this month and I absolutely love it. Plenty of flavour and just the right amount of heat for my taste. Great with curry instead of traditional mango chutney or just on cheese and biscuits. Will definitely be looking for some more of this one!

  2. Luke Reid

Super spicy and great with any curry, excellent product and great service

  3. Jamie Lomas (verified owner)

I keep coming back to this stuff, I can eat it with anything! Really enjoying throwing it on scrambled eggs at breakfast at the moment!

  4. Kirsty Lear

One of my favourites! Not too hot but has a nice satisfying punch. I can’t resist a smeer of this on my cheese and crackers, sometimes I just dip chunks of cheese in and don’t bother with the crackers! I’ve tried a few of these prices spices products and can honestly say they do not disappoint. I’ve always got an open jar in the fridge. I also stir a spoonful in with sausages or chicken to make a really tasty meal.

  5. Adam Cobb

Found this chutney at a local garden centre chilli fest. What a find. It’s changed my outlook on hot sauces for the better. Having the sweetness of the pineapple soften your taste buds before the Naga punches you in the face is something to behold. Never running out of this stuff. Try it now

  6. Clare Hadland

We love mango chutney with our curries, but tried this at the Stratford Food Festival recently and it has now become a firm favourite! The combination of pineapple and naga chilli makes a fruity chutney with a tasty kick of heat, and we have been enjoying it with curries, samosas, in cheese toasted sandwiches…and I’m still finding new ways to incorporate it into our meals. It tastes amazing!

  7. Ian Blackburn

Deliciously hot but with a sweetness that keeps drawing you back and back and b…

  8. Conell Coker (verified owner)

This is by far the most amazing and flavourful chutney I’ve ever had. It’s so good I keep coming back for more, and telling everyone I know aswell as forcing everyone that comes to my house to try how good it is! Don’t ever change this recipe, by far the pinnacle of the brand in my opinion!

  9. Dave Osment

Bought the India joywala, Pineapple and Dorset Naga chilli yesterday in Blackpool, need another jar as it’s already gone, nom nom!

  10. Rob Kendrick (verified owner)

This is simply the best Chutney known to man! I need to order in larger quantities.
    Awsome!!!

  11. Rob Kendrick (verified owner)

Just got some of this from BBC Food Show and now I am online ordering some more. Fantastic layers of flavour and depth to go with the heat kick. Best hot product I’ve discovered in ages.

  12. Alex Gordon

We bought the Joywala at the Dorset Chilli Festival on a whim. What a find! I’ll be ordering some more straight after this review. You get a lovely heat from the Naga chilli which comes in after the sweet pineapple.

  13. Luke Parker

I recently tried then bought your Indian joywala sauce. I’m a massive chilli head and am in love with this sauce the layers of flavours is incredible and hot you one after the other with a greast heat to finish it off.
Will be in touch when it’s close to finished.

  14. Fee Smith

My first try of any of your products. A-MA-ZING……………with emphasis on the ZING. Lovely pineapple sweetness and then the heat of the Naga kicks in and ramps the sensations up a couple of notches. Love, love, love it.
