 500 g lean minced lamb
 3 tsp cumin seeds
 3 tsp coriander seeds
 3 cloves garlic, minced
 1 Tbsp mint, finely chopped
 2 Tbsp olive oil
 2 Tbsp horners aftermath chilli jam
 4 pitta breads
  mixed salad

In a dry frying pan add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds. Keep the seeds moving until they become slightly darker and very aromatic.


Either blitz the seeds in a coffee grinder or use the traditional method of pestle and mortar.


Mix together the powdered seeds, garlic, minced lamb and mint. Using a metal kebab skewer shape the meat on the skewer to make large sausages with the skewer running through the middle.


After 10 minutes they should be cooked throughly, serve with lightly toasted pitta breads slit to make a pocket and packed with a little salad. Spoon over a little more prices spices horners aftermath chilli jam and enjoy.


Heat a grill or bbq griddle to its highest temperature and brush the meat with a little of the oil mixture. Rotate these several times whilst cooking to ensure it is evenly cooked but not too dry. Keep basting them with the oil and prices spices horners aftermath chilli jam mixture.
