Piccalilli – Mixed Vegetables in a Mustard Sauce with Chilli

Whether you’re a piccalilli fan or not we have been surprised by the number of non piccalilli eaters that have dared try it, not only have they tried it but bought a few jars at the same time! Credit where it’s due that says it all! We have developed this to ensure that there is just enough sauce to pickle ratio, although enough sauce to prevent it from being too dry. By keeping the tangy acidity levels down it allows you to taste the chillies, not screw your face up with the sharpness. Although it features our milder chillies, you still get a tingle and sweeter flavour than you would with an ordinary pickle.

If you think our peppy piccalilli is far more expensive than the shop bought piccalilli equivalents. Please note how much veg you get cram packed into our jar, not ALL sauce like the big brands and do I need to remind you that this was lovingly had made in Leamington Spa! Once you’ve tried this you’ll consider the bigger brands to be the paupers of the piccalilli world!

Ideal for having on sandwiches and with cold meats all year round, as it’s not overly tangy it will work with a cheese ploughmans too.

If you come up with any usage ideas that we’ve not thought we’d love to know, heck we might even feature it on the website if you want! If nothing else we’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions by the way of a review. Using this to guage whether you’d like our products milder or spicier.

Ideal with a Ploughmans lunch (meat or cheese), crusty baguettes and other meals that require a mustardy kick! Prices Spices Peppy Piccalilli is quite literally sugar, spice and all things nice…

If you’re a piccalilli fan, you’ll love Peppy Piccalilli! Delicious flavour, packed with veg, loads of cauliflower and no gloop left at the end!

I can’t get enough of it! Wish they made bigger jars…

Delicious piccalilli, really good taste. Great with cold meats or cheese. Wonderful in sandwiches. Just the right amount of chillies. Bought our jar at the Chichester chilli festival and it’s gone already.

I came across Peppy Piccalilli at the good food show, where I took the opportunity to sample. It brings a whole new taste to piccalilli. It is now a firm favourite for both my wife and I fully recommended.

The texture of this product is wonderful, the amount of veg is great. The initial tang from the gherkin is wonderful followed by the flavoursome heat as a secondary hit gives you a whole different experience in one mouthful.
I love it on Pork Pies, cheese sandwiches, corned beef crisp bakes and ham sandwiches.
I like it mixed into mash, but I’m a little strange that way. Yeah love it!

This does what it says on the jar – it’s piccalilli with a definite zing to it ….like this product as so versatile, great with cold meats and cheeses, with salads on the side, or at lunchtime on a sandwich. certainly awakens the taste buds, never tasted a version of piccalilli like this before or after….a firm favourite kept in the fridge when we want to spice things up a little
